Good God! It's been a long time since I've posted.
I've joined the Occupy movement. Knowing other people are as worried and disgusted as I am is a great relief. Occupy's Declaration was disseminated on September 28, 2011. It's a list of primary grievances. The list is open for refinement and additions.
My pet cause is exposing and reforming our justice system.
More later. The Packers are playing their fourth quarter. GO PACKERS!
The Broncos won again today. This win ties them with the Raiders for first place. GO BRONCOS!
Snowy and cold here in sunny Colorado. Finally, after record-setting warm temperatures this Fall.
Until we meet again, a safe and merry Christmas to you and yours.

I don't know what the heck is going on with my blog spot. It's too confusing to operate.

myspace.com is easier to navigate plus it has more features.

Latest news. Jim and I returned from a two-week trip to the East Coast on May 27, 2006. We covered a lot of territory, put 2200 miles on our rental car. Saw a bunch of cool sites - US Naval Academy and State Circle at Annapolis, MD; Mt. Vernon at D.C.; Monticello at Charlottesville, VA; Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and World Trade Center site in NYC; the Outer Banks of North Carolina; the National Confederacy Museum in Richmond, VA and Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown, all in Virginia. Wish we could have done more. Age has slowed us a bit.
This last week we've been putting many miles on the road searching for new digs. We might move to Longmont, Colorado. Recently it was selected as one of the best small towns to live. Can't remember who did the selecting. Some hometown organization I think.
Stay in touch.
Thanks for stopping by.

Here is my very first blog and my first post on it. I created this blog because I want to be a "with it" person. Everybody's doing it so why not me?
Last night Jim made his usual call to me while driving home from work. He said the radio just announced a new name for baby boomers: Abby (acronym for aging baby boomers). Hey to you who made up the name - do you think the clock has stopped for you? For you guys, how about Sassy (acronym for spoiled and self-serving). So there! Seriously, it's unfair to generalize about 76 million people. Not all baby boomers are the same.
Happy Thanksgiving. Drive safely and watch out for the other guy. And be nice, for cryin' out loud!
